Responsibilities:
Account Manager(Sales,Marketing and Business Development M1) needed by Celanese Polymer Products, LLC in Irving, Texas [& various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to create growth for Mobility and Materials (M&M) or engineering resins in the automotive industry- and primarily the LJO (Landed Japanese Operations) value chains by working externally with customers and internally with R&D and technology team to deliver new innovative and value-added solutions. Act as advisor to unit or sub-units and meet schedules and resolve problems. Guide and prioritize activities of individual contributors. Work independently and contribute and execute business, functional and product strategies. Share business and industry intelligence with counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, and customer service) to promote increased revenue and value. Operate with latitude for action and decision making. Develop and execute strategies to grow the business, drive new product innovation and launch products into specific, targeted automotive segments and applications. Identify and establish relationships with new customers and manages and build relationships with existing customers. Provide internal and external technical and customer support in the development and application of products, processing techniques, and resolution of problems. Maximize revenues from sales of the organization's products and services through direct sales and base of reseller partners including dealers, systems integrators, value-added resellers, distributors, and retailers. Administer sales policies and programs to meet sales and profit goals. Identify and establish relationships with new customers. Locate, evaluate, and recruit potential channel partners. Support partners throughout sales process in sales-oriented activities including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training, to achieve revenue targets. Segment, target and influence key decision makers primarily in the North America LJO automotive value chain to drive rapid extension of successful applications. Use judgment to make decisions that affect own area of responsibility within the business and function. Solves technical or operational problems. Develop and implement strategies for business growth, new product launches, and identify and target specific automotive segments and applications. Utilize customer relationship management tools to identify and establish relationships with new customers, as well as manage and build relationships with existing customers. Apply technical knowledge and experience in the development and application of automotive products and processing techniques. Administer sales policies and programs including managing reseller partners including dealers, systems integrators, value-added resellers, distributors, and retailers in the engineering plastics industry. Work with the North America Landed Japanese Operations (LJO) automotive value chain and key decision makers in the industry, with the ability to influence them to drive revenue growth for engineering plastics. Domestic travel required 50% of time.
Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Business Administration, Material Science, or Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in a related occupation identifying and establishing relationships with new customers and managing and building relationships with existing customers; supporting partners throughout sales process in sales-oriented activities, including marketing, advertising, sales promotions, and training to achieve revenue targets; sharing business and industry intelligence with counterparts (marketing, research and development, tech service, customer service) to promote increased revenue and value; using judgment to make decisions that affect own area of responsibility within the business and function; solving technical and operational problems; developing and implementing strategies for business growth, new product launches, and identifying and targeting specific
