Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess personal injury claims to determine the validity and value of the case.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their case status.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance adjusters and opposing parties to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Draft legal documents, including demand letters and settlement agreements, ensuring compliance with legal standards.
- Conduct thorough investigations, including gathering evidence, medical records, and witness statements to support claims.
- Maintain detailed records of case files and correspondence to ensure proper documentation and case management.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active state bar license to practice law.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal injury law, with a focus on pre-litigation matters preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and insurance representatives.
- Proficient in legal research and writing, with a keen attention to detail.
