LMI is seeking a skilled Senior Supply Chain Operations Consultant at the Army G-4 office in the Pentagon, Arlington, VA. Responsibilities
The consultant will support the Army G-4's G-44(S) Troop Support Division responsible for working on policies and initiatives in support of the Army's food modernization program. The consultant must be able to work autonomously, set high standards for personal performance, have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, have exceptional writing skills, and be comfortable briefing and interfacing with general officers and senior executive civilians on a routine basis. The candidate will provide end-to-end support to the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 as well as other external stakeholders. Position requires a DoD Secret clearance.

Required Responsibilities:
- Manage the U.S. Army's portfolio for the Army food modernization program. Provide analytical and technical support to programs.
- Tracks and performs administrative requirements pertaining to DA Level Task through the Enterprise Staff Management System 2 (ETMS 2) for the G44S.
- Conduct analysis leveraging the Army Food Information Management System, Decision Support System AFMIS-DSS.
- Evaluate Army Audit Agency and Government Accountability Office reports on the food modernization program and assist in the preparation of the advisory response.
- Conduct research and analysis to prepare presentations on Army food modernization actions and provide strategic-level talking points or information papers for DCS, G-4 Senior Leadership.
- Authors papers and responds to queries from Congressional members, Army senior leaders, and staff agencies.
- Serves as a liaison between other military services, Defense agencies, staff offices, and commands to solve current issues and develop best business practices.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Candidate must have an advanced degree with 9 years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with 11 years of experience.
- Familiarity with the Army Food Program
- Possess strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work autonomously with high standards for personal performance. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and adaptable to flexible work styles, environments, and locations.
- Ability to coordinate and build consensus among a wide cross-section of stakeholders. Comfortable briefing General Officers and Senior Executives.
- Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet, database, and related software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of tools (Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint).
- Some travel required (less than 20%)
- Position requires an active DoD Secret clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Master's degree in business management or related discipline.
- Experience working at the DoD strategic level.
