The Tools & Frameworks team creates user experiences and services to enable Apple's engineers to craft high-quality products. We are responsible for internal tools and supporting technologies that are critical parts of the Software Engineering workflow. The Developer Engagement team is looking for an exceptional engineer to join a dynamic team that drives innovation in how we develop and support workflows used by internal developers to create our operating systems and applications.
Description
You will collaborate with developers to identify the tools that best meet their particular needs, help them adopt these tools, and provide real world feedback, so they can prioritize features that best meet their needs. You will create tools and automations across multiple systems that streamline these interactions. You will exhibit strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a fervent drive to make an impact.
- Provide an excellent experience while supporting our internal users, including technical and non-technical inquiries
- Develop automation/tooling that will dramatically improve the efficiency and experience for end users
- Instrument observability of support workflows, analyze metrics and optimize the process
- Seek out opportunities to enable community management and self-help opportunities for the systems we support (e.g. FAQs, How-to-guides, and documentation)
- Craft concise and effective communications around announcements, maintenance, and incidents
- Maintain high quality product feedback by ensuring bug reports are actionable by engineering teams
