Infrastructure Architect - Epic Deployment

• Installing and managing the application deployment platforms that serve production, reporting, disaster recovery, training , and non-production needs
• Installing and maintaining the administrative and monitoring tools necessary for high levels of availability and performance of Epic system
• Understanding performance metrics, monitoring system performance, and troubleshooting issues
• Assisting in the configuration and troubleshooting of integrated third party software and peripherals
• Managing logins for different types of access, including login behavior and working environment configuration
• Applying platform and Epic upgrades and updates to production and non-production components
• Responding to emergency and after-hours issues
• Engaging in capacity planning exercises to ensure adequate system resources
• Collaborating with technical teams and Epic to ensure proactive support
• Writing and maintaining scripts to improve system management tasks
• Participating in your change control process for all planned application and technical activities
• Maintaining and testing processes related to business continuity
• Following vendor and Epic best practices for hardware and software configuration
• Providing advanced-level guidance to team members

Education:

Associate Degree w/10+ years job experience or Bachelor Degree w/6+ years job experience

Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Electrical/Computer

Certification: Epic ECSA preferred

Experience: Technical experience is demonstrated by advanced knowledge in: Citrix, Servers, and preferably Microsoft Azure. Experience providing cost-effective solutions coordinated with multiple entities or multiple teams required. Demonstrated ability to technically contribute as a Technical Lead to strategic and tactical projects. Experience with presentation platforms such as Citrix, VMWare, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.

  • Willingness to carry and maintain provided communications equipment and to be available for on-call support
