Zipliens is a leading lien resolution company that specializes in streamlining the lien process for personal injury law firms.
We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team building the next generation of applications for the legal industry. At the present time, the Zipliens engineering team is responsible for task workflows for the operations teams, automated communications strategies, transparency to the client through a client portal, data ingestion, and more. After years of lessons learned, we are starting the buildout of our next generation of tools. We are looking for a seasoned developer to join the team tackling a variety of issues including but not limited to: large data set collection and processing, machine learning applications for large data sets, splitting and reworking applications for scale, user interfaces built for optimal customer experience, and optimizing staff workloads through smart automation.

Pay Disclosure: In the states of CA, CO, CT, NV, NY, RI, WA, the total base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $132,000 annually, with opportunity for a quarterly discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be determined based on skills and experience.

Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable software solutions in alignment with business and technical requirements.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in backend and frontend technologies (e.g., Python/Django, React).
- Integrate and enhance data processing workflows, including working with large datasets and automation solutions.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented throughout development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to implement technical strategies and best practices.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers, fostering a strong engineering culture.
- 5+ years of software development experience, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable applications.
- Proficiency in React for frontend development, with experience building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
- Significant experience with backend frameworks, such as Python/Django (preferred) or other relevant web server frameworks (Node.js, Laravel, Rails, etc.).
- Experience with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing optimized queries for performance and scalability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work on-site at least three days per week (60%) in our Spring Hill, TN office - strongly preferred.
