Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and drive the commercial optimization of fuel terminals. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing internal projects from initiation through completion. You will ensure that projects meet requirements for technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost, while overseeing all aspects of project management, including planning, staffing, supply management, subcontract coordination, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership and Coordination:
  • Lead and coordinate all phases of internal projects aimed at commercial optimization of fuel terminals.
  • Plan, schedule, and track project milestones, ensuring the timely delivery of objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify project goals and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

Resource and Team Management:
  • Oversee project resources, including staffing, procurement, and subcontract management.
  • Lead and manage project teams, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and performance.
  • Provide direction and guidance to team members to ensure successful project execution.

Commercial Optimization:
  • Develop strategies and work plans to optimize fuel terminal operations, focusing on improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall performance.
  • Identify areas for improvement within the terminal operations and recommend technological or process-based solutions.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  • Continuously monitor project performance against established schedules, budgets, and technical specifications.
  • Prepare regular project progress reports for senior management, including updates on timelines, costs, and potential risks.
  • Recommend and implement adjustments to schedules, costs, or resources as needed to meet project goals.

Risk Management and Troubleshooting:
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues as they arise to minimize delays and budget overruns.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet the required technical and operational standards.
  • Work with the terminal team to verify that all work is completed in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure alignment and support for project objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and external partners to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Continuous Improvement:
  • Lead efforts to continuously improve project management processes and tools to increase efficiency, reduce risk, and optimize project outcomes.

Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, business, or a related field or other related fields, preferably within the fuel and energy space.
  • PMP certification (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on energy or commercial optimization projects (fuel terminals or related industries preferred).
  • Proven experience working cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
  • Strong technical understanding of fuel terminal operations, systems, and technologies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and schedules.
