Summary:
The Director of Surgical Services Process Improvement assists and collaborates with the System Surgical Services leadership team to support the operational improvement projects for the service line; supports change processes, leads/participates in new and existing program development, monitors operational quality metrics and collaborates with other managers to address process changes. Supports contract management, project management, and serves as the Surgical Services liaison with Supply Chain. Leads/participates in cost reduction strategies; supports Surgical Services managers; mine data and develop/present reports; and facilitate data-based decision making. Participates in goal setting and achievement of these, assuring Surgical Services alignment with Chief Nursing Executive's vision and mission.
Other information:
Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/business administration or similar subject area. A Master in Business Administration preferred. Minimum three (3) years of experience in leading complex performance improvement projects in healthcare settings. Knowledge of surgical services experience (OR, Cath Lab, Ambulatory Surgery). Strong Analytical, problem -solving, and strategic thinking skills to understand and anticipate the impact and opportunities across multiple critical projects. Demonstrated expertise in intermediate or advanced computer, spreadsheet, and database skills. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. Ability to establish and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders, staff, and physicians at all levels and communicate effectively and professionally. Demonstrated strength in building and setting goals and evaluating results in accordance with the highest standards and respect; advance care through the development of new ideas and technology. Promote teamwork to achieve CNE's mission and understand and exceed customer expectations. Experience presenting findings/ recommendations to executive level audiences. Data Mining and data reduction and working with data registries preferred.
This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
