Business Integra is seeking a highly skilled ACAS Consultant to support our cybersecurity operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and will be responsible for vulnerability scanning, security assessments, and risk mitigation in a dynamic environment.

Job Description:
Business Integra is seeking a highly skilled ACAS Consultant to support our cybersecurity operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and will be responsible for vulnerability scanning, security assessments, and risk mitigation in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform weekly and ad-hoc scans on various network assets using ACAS.
- Analyze and review weekly and monthly ACAS scan reports for vulnerabilities.
- Upload scan results into ACAS Security Center and maintain accurate documentation.
- Perform Security Center updates as needed to ensure system integrity.
- Collaborate with System Administrators (SAs), Information System Security Officers (ISSOs), and Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) to address and mitigate identified vulnerabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve ACAS vulnerability scanning credential failures, false positives, and scanning issues effectively.
- Provide timely feedback on identified security issues, mission impacts, and recommended defensive strategies.
- Conduct vulnerability analysis on Common Vulnerability and Exposure (CVE) threats and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) alerts.
- Perform audit log reviews to identify potential security risks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience using ACAS.
- Strong understanding of Nessus vulnerability scanner and its implementation.
- Familiarity with Windows administration and security practices.
- Experience with the Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) process.
- Knowledge of virtual environments such as VMware and cloud computing.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
