Siemens Digital Industries is seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Account Executive to drive growth within the Chemical, Glass, and Energy (CGE) sector. This role is ideal for a technical sales professional with deep expertise in process automation solutions, digital transformation trends, and industrial software applications. The successful candidate will possess strong consultative selling skills, business development expertise, and the ability to position Siemens' portfolio as a strategic enabler for customers in Oil & Gas, Hydrogen, Sustainable Fuel, SAF, and Upstream Battery industries.

As part of the Siemens Vertical Market CGE Organization, the Enterprise Account Executive will play a pivotal role in developing business opportunities, managing strategic accounts, and working cross-functionally to deliver innovative automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency, sustainability, and market competitiveness.

We are looking for an Enterprise Account Executive. This position is remote and can be located anywhere within the continental, United States.

You'll make an impact by:

Technical Sales & Industry Expertise
  • Drive influence in system design and application recommendations for Siemens' Digital Industries portfolio.
  • Apply domain expertise in DCS, SCADA, PLCs, IIoT, and industrial software to support customers in process automation and digital transformation.
  • Guide customers on energy efficiency, emissions control, and carbon footprint reduction strategies.
  • Stay abreast of Industry 4.0, AI, and smart manufacturing trends to position Siemens as an industry thought leader.

Sales & Business Development
  • Leverage a consultative sales approach to identify customer pain points and propose tailored automation solutions.
  • Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) for lead generation, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across engineering firms, system integrators, and end-user ecosystems to drive sales opportunities.
  • Develop and deliver compelling ROI-driven presentations and proposals showcasing Siemens' value proposition.
  • Customer Engagement & Market Positioning
  • Cultivate and manage C-suite relationships, ensuring long-term engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Siemens in industry associations and working groups, driving domain expertise and brand visibility.
  • Actively contribute to demand generation efforts, leveraging digital marketing tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and lead-nurturing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Siemens DI and SI field teams to orchestrate end-to-end technical and commercial support.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Digital Tools
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product teams, marketing, procurement, and engineering, to align sales strategies with customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account strategies in SieSales CRM, covering direct and indirect business transactions.
  • Utilize data analytics to track performance, optimize sales strategies, and enhance customer engagement.

You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivilent GED
  • 8+ years of sales acumen.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or account management within the process automation industry.
  • 5+ years proven track record in consultative and value-based selling within the Chemical and/or Energy field.
  • Strong knowledge of process automation, digital transformation, and industrial software solutions.
  • Ability to operate across multiple sales channels, including direct sales, distributors, and system integrators.
  • Executive presence and communication skills to engage with senior leaders.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven sales decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively in both domestic and international virtual teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% as required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors' degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Understanding of batch and continuous production, safety compliance, and energy management.
  • Prior exposure to Siemens Digital Industries products, solutions, and services is a plus.
  • Strong ability to develop client relationships and execute on complex sales opportunities across multiple organizations.

  • The pay range for this position is $89,670 - $153,720 and the annual bonus will be 46% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
