Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Director of Business Development & Capture to drive strategic growth and lead capture efforts for prime opportunities. This role requires a proactive leader with a proven track record of identifying and qualifying prime bids, building high-performing teams, and successfully securing contract awards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage a Prime Pipeline - Identify and qualify prime opportunities that align with company capabilities and strategic goals.
- Capture Leadership - Lead the full lifecycle of capture efforts, from opportunity identification through proposal submission, ensuring a high probability of win.
- RFI & Proposal Development - Respond to RFIs as part of the early stages of capture, shaping requirements and influencing acquisition strategies.
- Internal Collaboration - Meet with internal teams to assess capabilities and align employee qualifications with strategic pursuits.
- Team Formation & Partnering - Build and manage teams for successful bid execution, leveraging internal resources and external partnerships.
- Growth & Expansion Strategy - Work closely with operations leads and on-site personnel to identify areas for expansion and enhance proposal efforts.
- Competitive Analysis - Conduct market research and competitor analysis to position the company effectively in the federal contracting space.
Qualifications:
- Proven Track Record - Demonstrated experience in identifying, qualifying, and capturing prime bids leading to successful contract awards.
- Strategic Relationship Builder - Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and government customers.
- Capture & Proposal Expertise - Hands-on experience leading capture efforts, managing proposal teams, and responding to RFIs/RFPs.
- Industry Knowledge - Deep understanding of federal contracting, procurement processes, and competitive positioning.
