Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both project management and estimating, with the ability to oversee construction projects from inception to completion while ensuring accurate and comprehensive cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for various construction projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to management.
- Oversee all aspects of construction projects from planning to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and submit project reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
