What you'll be doing:

As part of the Platform Engineering team, you'll collaborate with developers, system engineers, and trading teams to enhance database performance, automation, and reliability. Your work will include:

• Database Platform Engineering - Design, implement, and support database platforms, with a focus on SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Automation & Self-Service - Develop tools and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual operations.
• Performance Optimization - Work with software engineers and trading teams to enhance database-driven applications at scale.
• Collaboration & Innovation - Partner with global teams to build resilient, scalable, and secure database solutions.

Who you are:

• Experienced & Technical - 7+ years of database engineering experience, with expertise in SQL Server or PostgreSQL. Knowledge of Redis, MongoDB, or Cassandra is a plus.
• Proficient in Scripting & Automation - Strong skills in Python, PowerShell, and declarative configuration management systems.
• Infrastructure-Savvy - Understanding of networking protocols, security concepts, and operating system internals.
• Problem-Solver & Innovator - Excited to tackle complex database challenges and improve system efficiency.
• Strong Communicator - Ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts clearly.
