Job Duration: 10 Weeks
Shift: Day - 8x5 - 9 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 24
Experience: Minimum 2 Years
License: ARDMS Registered
Certifications: N/A
Must-Have: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Job Description:
- Responsible for properly greeting patients and verifying the correct patient name, date of birth, proper exam and diagnosis, and doctor order prior to performing exams or procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is cleaned after every use, including the scanner, table, counters, operator's console, workstations, injectors, and wheelchairs.
- Stock examination rooms after each use and maintain readiness for the next procedure.
- Take call and perform all technologist duties as needed to provide coverage for each modality within the department.
- Maintain knowledge of equipment, scanning techniques, and parameters in accordance with Radiologist requests and recommendations.
- Provide proper preps and protocols for exams to ensure accurate testing for the correct diagnosis.
- Commitment to full-time hours on a Monday to Friday schedule, with one weeknight of on-call per week and one weekend per month.
