While currently an Expression of Interest, here is a peak at what you could be doing. As a CG Supervisor at Bardel, you will be responsible for ensuring the creative and technical quality of the production. You will collaborate with the Directors, Production Teams, and Department Heads to maintain consistency in style and quality. Your role will include leading and mentoring CG teams, managing workflows, and optimizing the production pipeline to deliver outstanding animation.

Pay Range: CAD $2200 - $2500 per week

As a CG Supervisor at Bardel, you will be responsible for ensuring the creative and technical quality of the production. You will collaborate with the Directors, Production Teams, and Department Heads to maintain consistency in style and quality. Your role will include leading and mentoring CG teams, managing workflows, and optimizing the production pipeline to deliver outstanding animation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Oversee CG department workflows, searching for ways to find efficiencies while delivering superior results.
- Ensure seamless integration of assets and shots across all departments.
- Proactively address technology, and pipeline concerns by providing solutions.
- At times, go "On the Box" to test and demonstrate workable solutions that meet the projects needs and timeline
- Work with Production to manage schedules, track progress, and meet deadlines.
- Identify potential delays and provide proactive recommendations to keep production on schedule.
- Work closely with other Leads, Supervisors and Directors to ensure a cohesive pipeline.
- Analyze production successes and challenges to improve future projects.
- Mentor team members by providing guidance and resources for professional growth.
Requirements
What You'll Bring
- Previous experience as a CG Supervisor in high-quality television animation.
- Comprehensive understanding of CG pipelines, including animation and VFX.
- Expert knowledge of CG workflows, technology, and pipeline management.
- Experienced with Maya, Nuke, Houdini, Katana, Renderman
- Blender Experience is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and people management skills.
- Willingness to adopt new software and technologies relevant to animation and digital production.
