This role is pivotal in developing and implementing incident response strategies, ensuring robust threat analysis, and enhancing the organization's overall security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the incident response team to effectively handle cybersecurity incidents.
- Develop and implement incident response plans and procedures.
- Conduct threat analysis and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to manage incidents and ensure compliance with security frameworks.
- Oversee forensic investigations into security breaches and incidents.
- Develop training programs for team members on incident management and crisis response.
- Provide leadership and direction in improving security operations and incident response capabilities.
- Evaluate and recommend security tools and technologies to enhance incident response efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on incident response and threat management.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and risk management.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud security and data protection strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
