Data Center Expert

Dynamic Solutions Technology, LLC (DST) is seeking a full-time Data Center Expert to support a government client located in Port Hueneme, CA. This is an exempt position with some remote flexibility at the customer's discretion.

ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Guide efforts to gather and organize technical information about an organization's mission goals and needs, existing security products, existing inventory management tools, and ongoing programs
• Perform risk analyses including risk assessments for the client's current environment
• Assess the operational and functional baseline of the organization and its organizational components
• Help to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed
• Responsible for administration and deployment of NetApp and Rack server architect, or equivalent platform capabilities
• Implement and monitor Host Based Security System (HBSS) and Endpoint Security Solutions (ESS) including the configuration and monitoring of HBSS and/or ESS Fragmentary Orders (FRAGORD)
• Document the technical requirements/as-built documentation, manuals, policies, and processes
• Coordinate application and platform upgrades
• Work with client to resolve issues and validate programming requirements
• Ensure Information Security requirement implementations including the ability to ensure IAVA/M and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) compliance
• Create ServiceNow workflow process for intake/resolution
• Roadmap KPI/metrics
• Working closely with IT and business partners to configure and improve core platform capabilities in accordance with ITIL best practices.

Desired Skills

• Proficient with fiber channel fabric/zoning/LUN management
• Proficient with the Administration and deployment of NetApp and Rack Server architecture, or equivalent platform capabilities
• Proficient with disaster recovery preparedness, execution and administration using policy-based backup applications
• ITIL v4 Fundamentals

Education/Years of Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Management, or Software Engineering
• 8+ years of relevant experience
• 8570 compliant
