Location: Herndon, VA
Salary: $80-90K + potential for quarterly bonuses

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structures ensuring safety, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to ensure designs meet project requirements.
• Perform calculations and simulations to assess the integrity and durability of structures.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for client and regulatory review.
• Oversee construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to enhance project coordination and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• EIT certification or progress towards completion.
• Experience with Revit software.
• Experience with BIM technology and its application in structural design or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of cold-formed steel framing
• 0-1+ years of experience (new grads welcomed)
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
