Position Overview
The Director of Surveying is responsible for leading and managing surveying operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. This role involves overseeing surveying projects from conception to completion, managing a team of surveyors, and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage surveying projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Conduct geospatial analysis and land use planning to support project objectives.
• Utilize GIS and CAD software for data visualization and project design.
• Oversee field surveys and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage client relationships and communicate project updates effectively.
• Conduct environmental assessments and data analysis to inform decision-making.
• Supervise and mentor surveying staff, providing guidance and support as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Professional Surveyor license is required.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in surveying or related field, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of geospatial analysis, land use planning, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficient in GIS and CAD software applications.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client management.
