We are currently looking for a full time Senior IT Analyst - Networking. Under the direction of the Vice president of IT Services, the Network Specialist is a key member of the IT Services team who will be required to lead numerous infrastructures, software operations and project initiatives.
The Senior IT Analyst - Networking, under operations and projects will be responsible for the architecting, design, build, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of Zema's network and security infrastructure. You will optimize our company's IT network as well as evaluating our network's performance, collaborating with our IT teams to increase network capacity, availability and overseeing network security.

We are currently looking for a full time Senior IT Analyst - Networking. Under the direction of the Vice president of IT Services, the Network Specialist is a key member of the IT Services team who will be required to lead numerous infrastructures, software operations and project initiatives.
The Senior IT Analyst - Networking, under operations and projects will be responsible for the architecting, design, build, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of Zema's network and security infrastructure. You will optimize our company's IT network as well as evaluating our network's performance, collaborating with our IT teams to increase network capacity, availability and overseeing network security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing new network solutions and / or improving the efficiency of current networks.
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, load balancers, switches, firewalls, LAN and WAN hardware, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, VPN and QoS etc.
- Procuring network equipment and managing subcontractors involved with network installation.
- Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
- Maximizing network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Arranging scheduled upgrades.
- Investigating faults in the network and driving resolutions in a timely and effective manner.
- Create and Report network status to key stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain networking documentation network and cabling layouts.
- Perform troubleshoot and resolve VOIP systems and VPN related problems.
- Assist to set up phone base and configuration of various network.
- Maintain an inventory of IT property and assets.
- Evaluate and perform audit on completion projects and any relevant documentation.
- Collect all data in more organized way to ensure better IT documentation process
- Perform when required POC's to evaluate new technologies.
Candidate Requirements
Essential Technical Qualities
- Excellent level of experience (7+ years) and hands-on knowledge in the engineering, design and 3rd line support of infrastructure technologies in a highly available, fault tolerant and business critical environment.
- Hands of management of Fortinet Next Generation firewalls.
- Expert knowledge of WAN, LAN, WLAN, IP and security best practices in an enterprise environment.
- Expert in the design, management and troubleshooting of VPN connectivity and routing.
- An expert knowledge of and the ability to design, configure and troubleshoot routing protocols (TCP/IP, EIGRP, BGP, VRRP, OSPF) - liaising with third party vendors where necessary.
- Detailed knowledge of IP Schema designs, subnetting and deployment.
- A strong understanding of network monitoring tools / applications and the ability to interpret these tools to undertake preventative maintenance and performance baselining.
