Job Description:
Seeking a Triage Engineer to oversee software release operations, issue resolution, and system performance monitoring for various devices. The role involves triaging defects, analyzing logs, debugging network issues, and improving release processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage software releases, including deployment, triage, and mitigation.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams for seamless release operations.
- Diagnose and resolve issues using Linux systems and networking protocols.
- Analyze system logs, performance metrics, and error rates to detect anomalies.
- Utilize AWS tools (S3, Athena, QuickSight) for data management and visualization.
- Develop tools and automation to enhance system performance and monitoring.
- Lead and mentor a small team of engineers.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 5+ years' experience in C/C++, Linux, and embedded systems.
- Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Go, Python) and defect tracking tools (JIRA).
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or other cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Datadog, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Experience in Set-top boxes, Broadband Gateways, or Home Security systems is a plus.
