What You'll Do:

The Treasurer will be responsible for managing the financial health of the organization. This includes overseeing budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management, and investment activities. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure the organization's financial stability.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Oversee investment activities and manage the organization's portfolio.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
  • Present financial reports to the board of directors and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Managing loan activity


Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Treasurer or in a similar financial role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certification such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or similar.
  • Experience with cash management systems and banking platforms.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with occasional remote work flexibility.
  • May require occasional travel for training or meetings.
