Senior Test Engineer Nashua

Job Description:

• Support Manufacturing Test for a wide variety of MACOM products.
• Facilitate new products transitions from engineering to manufacturing.
• Coordinate with Product Engineering to communicate future Test requirements.
• Develop and coordinate activities focused on testing of products and systems.
• Work closely with and provide feedback to design and manufacturing engineers.
• Perform Calibration and Test while Troubleshooting product.
• Analyze test data and write formal reports on findings.
• Determine Root-cause test failures to ensure issues are understood.
• Develop and implement enhancements as part of continuous improvement.
• Document new test procedures as required.

Key Qualifications:

• Solid understanding of RF, digital, and hardware architectures and design.
• Ability to understand complex electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
• Experience in designing and testing complex mixed signal electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of PCIe, I2C, SPI technologies.
• Able to quickly debug complex RF Test systems.
• Be able to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and concisely.
• Able to analyze parametric data and make sense of what it represents in the real world.
• Knowledge of automated test systems to include communication hardware, software, programming, and calibrating.
• Understanding of metrology, sources of measurement error, and uncertainty analysis.

Required Experience:

• Position requires a BS in EE or related field of study.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Test Manufacturing environment.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with high frequency and high power measurements.
• Experience with advanced test hardware integration.
• Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques to verify and validate product requirements.
