SUMMARY:

The Recruiting Manager leads the company's hiring efforts and team growth through candidate sourcing, interviewing, hiring and retention efforts. Interfaces with technical directors, team leads and company management throughout the recruiting process. Supervises the recruiting staff, and works across multiple functional departments to ensure the company's hiring objectives and strategies are identified and met. Reports to the Director of People & Culture.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • EXTERNAL FOCUS
    • Oversees applicant selection process, including applicant screening, phone and onsite interviews, skills assessments, and selection/non-selection communication
    • Leads candidate negotiation for employment offers on behalf of the company
    • Identifies and implements new candidate sourcing methods
    • Coordinate with department hiring managers to forecast future hiring needs
    • Builds the company's professional partnerships and applicant sourcing network
    • Leads effort to publish and promote job ads, utilizes Applicant Tracking Software tools and other online media to maximize visibility of job openings
    • Participates in outside and online hiring events such as university career events, technical school visits, and hiring fairs
  • INTERNAL FOCUS
    • Supervises the recruiting team and reports on key performance metrics
    • Develops tools and processes to ensure robust recruiting and hiring efforts
    • Provides internal communication to company leadership on all hiring efforts
    • Manages company's database of candidates, job requisitions, job descriptions, and new employee documentation
    • Reviews current salary trends in industry, and provides recommendations to leadership for maintaining a competitive compensation structure
    • Advises department managers on interviewing techniques
    • Stays current on labor legislation and changes in regulations


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Required Education: Associate's Degree. Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in HR Management, Communication, Organizational Psychology or related field
  • 4+ years of demonstrated success in Recruiting (Technical Recruiting a plus), including candidate screening and evaluation, phone and onsite interviews, offer negotiation
  • Skilled in decision making, negotiation, team collaboration and leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with proficiency in a variety of computer applications
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms and HR databases
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
