About this position:
This position is responsible for supporting the DC Operations within the NA HVAC North America business unit, driving all critical DC Network programs, exceeding delivery and productivity targets. This role creates strategy, provides support and guidance to the DC leadership teams to ensure business targets are achieved in accordance to BU goals and objectives. The role is responsible for identifying and removing obstacles, looking for opportunities for improvement, and partnering with support resources to drive outcomes. This leader possesses strong attention to detail in order to drive positive business results and work with the highest levels of integrity supporting the Carrier Way culture.

Key Responsibilities
- Ultimately responsible for developing and delivering year-over-year productivity within the HVAC Distribution Center Network in North America
- Supports all analytical needs for the DCs to ensure operations are optimized and meet/exceed the monthly forecasts.
- Works collaboratively across peers to create strategy for the NA HVAC Distribution Centers
- Supports all digital systems in service and implementation of new systems.
- Sets the Physical Inventory Exemption best practices and ensures all DCs meet requirements, including any annual Physical Inventory sessions.
- Apply continuous improvement tools to identify and eliminate the root causes of issues that may arise within the warehouse operations
- Serves as Program Manager for all critical programs within the Distribution Ops network - and supports direct reports in these areas.
- Participate in teams, committees, events and training that improve the organization's culture, productivity and safety
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree of art or science in business, finance, engineering or supply chain.
- 5+ years of experience in a Warehousing or Business analytics field.
- 6+ months people leadership experience.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 40%.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a Distribution Center from both an operational and financial perspective
- Adaptable to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy within a diverse organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a history of influencing multiple levels of the organization.
- Ability to make logical and accurate decisions using the best available information.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and anticipate needs.
- Detail-oriented and well organized.
- Excellent skills in word processing, spreadsheet use and development, and integrated data base systems.
- Proven ability to succeed in the day-to-day management of sustaining as well as strategic priorities.
- Technical knowledge / understanding of the HVAC product industry or ability to learn expeditiously.
- Passionate about eliminating problems before they occur or after only one occurrence
- Strong leadership skills including the capability to drive improvement and challenge the status quo
