Job Title: Private Equity Land Acquisition Development Manager
Location: Lehi, Utah (In-Person)
Compensation: $130,000 -$140,000/per year

About the Role:
The Private Equity Land Acquisition Development Manager will oversee all aspects of land acquisition and development, ensuring projects are financially viable, strategically executed, and efficiently managed. This role requires a deep understanding of budgeting, asset management, entitlements, and financial structuring. The ideal candidate will work closely with company executives, municipal representatives, and financial partners to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost controls align with company financial goals.
  • Oversee site development planning, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Work with city officials to secure entitlements, permits, and approvals required for development.
  • Oversee cost estimation and building expenses, working with construction and finance teams to optimize expenditures.
  • Lead asset management efforts, ensuring smooth project execution from acquisition to completion, including strategy development for project exits.
  • Collaborate with company executives to align land acquisition and development strategies with business objectives.
  • Work with city officials to secure necessary entitlements, zoning approvals, and permits for projects.
  • Partner with the CFO to secure lending and financing, ensuring the financial health of each project.
  • Maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project performance and investment returns.
  • Monitor market trends, identify new investment opportunities, and assess potential risks.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in land acquisition, development, or real estate private equity.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost management, and asset management.
  • Experience working with municipalities and securing entitlements for construction projects.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute exit strategies for investment properties.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with executives, city officials, and financial partners.
  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
