Duties and Accountabilities:

IFC's Climate Business Department is seeking an Extended-Term Consultant to support the Innovation and Business Development team (CDBSB) across several programs including Green Building Programs (EDGE, Building Resilience and APEX Green Cities), Eco-Industrial Parks, and Energy Transition. The selected candidate will support the following areas of work:
Developing and maintaining dashboards to share program metrics.
Supporting development of new standards and tools, websites, and providing technical and programming support as needed.
Testing project or program tools and websites, developing prototypes, documenting issues, and supporting implementation of improvements and fixes as needed.
Provide analyst support as needed including research activities, data collection, analysis, report writing, and developing presentations as needed.
Other activities as needed by the Unit Senior Manager and her team, including preparation of external and internal presentations, donor reports (e.g., for donors of the United Kingdom, SECO, Netherlands, Finland...), and tasks that emerge in the normal course of doing business.

Selection Criteria

This ETC role is for a candidate based in Washington DC. The qualified candidate will meet the following qualifications:
Master's degree in business, data science, international relations, or related field with solid training in quantitative and qualitative research methods.
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel for quantitative analysis and presentations required. Must know Power Bi and other data management tools (Phyton, R). SQL experience a plus.
Website and dashboard programming skills and experienced preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of work experience, preferably in international development.
Ability to conduct detail-oriented work under pressure and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience in climate change, green buildings, resilience, highly desirable.
Team worker who feels comfortable owning tasks and working independently.
Experience and proven ability to engage with colleagues and clients, through technical competence and excellent interpersonal skills.
Experience in roles related to project management and/or results reporting desired.
Advanced user of other MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).
Strong writing skills and experience in preparing and delivering presentations.
Fluency in English is a must, other languages preferred.
