Summary:
Provides leadership and has direct oversight of the staff within the Centralized Access Center (CAC), Centralized Financial Services Unit (CFCU), the Centralized Admission Verification Unit (CPAVU) and Nurse Connect RN Telephonic Triage Program. Oversees the budgeting, staffing, drafting, and updating of policies and procedures, audit responses (including regulatory and internal audit), compliance monthly reporting, risk, and audit reporting, and compliance enforcement within specific areas. Develops and implements strategic marketing and other patient care plans.
Education:
Essential:
* Bachelor's degree obtained through a formal 4-year program.
Experience:
* Ten years of related experience in healthcare in a patient financial services leadership role.
* Working knowledge and experience in the management of a centralized scheduling, pre-registration model of operations.
Special Training: Comprehensive understanding of medical and financial terminology.
