About this Position
This role will support Global Distribution on the launch of a new series of private equity offerings. This position offers a unique opportunity to build T. Rowe Price's Alternatives Distribution capabilities.
Role Summary
- The position is part of the Global Alternatives Distribution team and will report to Director of Alts Client Service.
- This role is directly responsible for supporting the distribution of alternatives products. and will work closely with peers on partner teams which include Global Distribution Relationship Managers, USI - Wealth Management (WM), the Centralized Private Equity Team (CPET), and Oak Hill Advisors (OHA).
- This is a sales enablement role, partnering with Alternative Investment Specialists and cross channel generalist relationship managers to facilitate sales of alternative products.
- The role has location flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Develop, automate, and maintain data pipelines and reports for key stakeholders using tools, as well as automate client service processes (as applicable).
- Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable insights for the alternative investment distribution unit.
- Contribute to financial modeling, performance tracking and market analysis for alternative investment products.
- Stay up to date on best practices in data analytics and the alternative investment landscape, particularly in private equity and private credit.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize operational processes through data-driven strategies/solutions.
- Partner with shared services teams to build advanced dashboards and visualizations in Tableau, Power BI or similar platforms to effectively communicate complex financial information.
- Utilize Alteryx or related tools to streamline/automate workflow processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Python or similar methods.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data for reporting, compliance, and decision-making purposes.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in alternative investments, finance and/or data analytics.
- Experience with alternative investment structures.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including macros, pivot tables and complex formulas.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Series 7 and 63, 65 or 66 are required. If the candidate does not currently hold the licenses they will be expected to obtain them within 6 months of hire.
Preferred:
- Expertise in Tableau, Power BI or other visualization tools.
- Experience with Alteryx or similar workflow automation platforms.
