Pulmonary/Critical Care Medical Director Opportunity in North Georgia
Georgia Health Care System and Physician Group are recruiting a Pulmonary/Critical Care Medical Director for Medical Center and a hospital-owned outpatient practice.
Qualified candidates:
Board Certified in Pulmonary and Critical Care with 5+ years of experience
Interested in growing a Pulmonary/Critical Care service line
MBA a plus
+/- BC/BE in sleep medicine
Superb procedural skills
Ideal candidates will have an interest in teaching
Ability to work as a team member
Commitment to quality, patient safety and overall excellence in evidence based clinical care
Responsibilities:
50/50 IP/OP Pulmonary Critical Care Clinical Duties with Administrative Medical Director Time.
Critical Care Department Overview:
18 bed MICU, 10 bed SICU
Level III Trauma center
Physician provides On-Site day coverage with night call (call pay provided)
24/7 APP support
Academic center with opportunities to participate with internal medicine and family medicine residency program
Tremendous opportunity for growth within the practice, where you will be supported by a strong and collaborative team with an excellent work culture & collegiality amongst providers and staff
Outpatient Practice Overview:
Multi-specialty clinic including Pulmonary, ID, Rheumatology
Monday-Thursday, 8-5, Friday 8-12
Procedures- Bronchoscopy; EBUS
