Our team in the US is growing. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our Minerals & Metals Business line in the Tucson office. About the Role
- Prepare mechanical layout detail designs and drawings in line with project design requirements for various areas from the following list:

- Crushing and reclaim, including conveyor set out and detailing
- Grinding circuit, including platework detailing
- Flotation and regrind, including the associated reagents and air services
- Concentrate filtration and handling
- CIP and POX
- Tails thickening
- Work in SmartPlant model environment
- Deliver design drafting according to project design requirements as well as the defined regulations, codes, and standards.
- Maintain consistent design drafting standards across project areas by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards. '
- Facilitate and ensure interdisciplinary co-ordination when developing the model
About You
- Mechanical Engineering Technician's diploma or equivalent
- 10-15 years' experience with a minimum of 5 years in the layout of mineral processing plants in a multidisciplinary EPC/EPCM environment.
- Working knowledge of SmartPlant an asset.
- Able to use vendor data, drawings and information to develop and verify the model.
- Understanding of industry regulatory codes and standards
- Excellent communication skills
