Responsibilities:
  • Ensure all resort buildings, equipment, vehicles, and other assets are functioning optimally.
  • Oversee property landscaping and maintenance.
  • Manage vendor relations and contracts related to facilities and maintenance.
  • Oversee Capital Expenditures (CapEx) projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
  • Manage the Repair & Maintenance (R&M) Profit & Loss (P&L) budget.
  • Lead the resort's safety and security initiatives to protect guests, team members, and company assets.
  • Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of Fire/Life Safety equipment.
  • Develop, implement, and oversee emergency response procedures.
  • Assist in security investigations when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to safety, building codes, and environmental standards.
  • Lead, mentor, and train the facilities, safety, and security teams.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainability.
  • Implement Leadership, Management, and Accountability (LMA) best practices to optimize department performance.

Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of building maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
  • Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and vendor contracts.
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering, facilities management, or a similar role.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations related to safety and building maintenance.
