The Opportunity
Position Summary:
This is a senior leadership position focused on enabling and supporting the vision, mission and strategic direction of Carewest, as a member of the Executive Leadership Committee, based on Carewest's Frame of Reference. The incumbent has responsibility for the overall development, integrity and promotion of sound financial systems, including: policies, budgeting, processes, variance analysis, reporting and management education. This position oversees key business services and serves as a key liaison with Alberta Health Services Finance, IT, Purchasing, Legal Services and Capital Projects. This position is responsible for promoting Carewest's culture of quality through an unwavering commitment to customer service, innovation, managed risk taking, accountability, and open, clear and timely communications.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree in Business Administration or Commerce with a focus on finance.
- Relevant accounting designation Chartered Accountant
- Systems and computer knowledge;
- Minimum of 10 years related work experience;
- Financial and cash management skills;
- Strategic Planning
