The Director of Parking and Transportation is responsible for overseeing all aspects of parking and transportation services at the Center, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and safe experience for patients, visitors, and staff. This role involves managing the strategic planning, operation, and maintenance of parking facilities, transportation systems, and related services, as well as collaborating with hospital leadership to develop and implement programs that enhance accessibility, convenience, and customer service. The Director will lead a team of parking and transportation staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance with regulations, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvements.

The Director will lead a team of parking and transportation staff, manage budgets, ensure compliance with regulations, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee the daily operations of parking facilities, valet services, shuttle transportation, and other transportation services. Manage, mentor, and develop the parking and transportation team. Coordinate with other hospital departments (e.g., Security, Facilities Management, Clinical Operations) to ensure alignment with hospital goals.
- Lead the development of long-term strategies for parking and transportation systems, taking into account hospital growth, patient volume, and emerging technologies.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for parking and transportation services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation in line with hospital priorities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations related to parking and transportation operations.
- Oversee safety protocols for parking lots, garages, shuttle services, and vehicle operations to maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Oversee contracts with third-party vendors, ensuring performance standards and budget compliance.
- Establish performance metrics and ensure team members are meeting operational and customer service standards.
Credentials and Qualifications:
- Master's Degree required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in parking and transportation management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role
- Experience in healthcare or hospital settings is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successful operations management, including budget oversight and process improvement.
- Valid Florida driver's license is required upon hire.
