Overview

Director of Digital Marketing

The Director is a strategic leader overseeing all digital marketing initiatives, focusing on performance-driven campaigns,

optimizing digital media channels, and driving measurable business growth.

This role will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of multi-channel digital marketing campaigns,

leveraging data and analytics to ensure maximum ROI.

Responsibilities

Accountabilities:
  • Serves as digital thought leader; defines and executes Digital Marketing Strategy programs as the "trusted advisor" on omnichannel marketing strategy related topics
  • Provides tailored advice and best practices to help customers and vendors implement digital marketing
  • programs encompassing eCommerce, digital advertising, brand loyalty, promotions, social media, and email/SMS communications
  • Overseeing the execution of campaigns across various digital channels, including social media, email, search engines, and display advertising
  • Track and measure the performance of all digital marketing channels and propose optimization initiatives to maximize marketing ROI
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of all digital marketing channels and create a strategic measurement framework that supports both operational and long-term decisions.
  • Keep abreast of the latest digital trends and continued advancements in digital technologies and marketing best practices
  • Lead the team that maintains the organization's presence across various digital platforms
  • Lead performance marketing efforts across channels like SEM, display, paid social, programmatic, and affiliate marketing.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of a comprehensive SEO strategy. Including content strategy and technology roadmap.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive paid media strategies driving growth performance and improved efficiency.
  • Provides guidance to the Data Analytics, Data Integrations, and Data Privacy teams to support the consistent use of customer and vendor data across enterprise platforms


Qualifications

Desirable Qualifications:
  • B.A in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years leading digital marketing channels
  • Proven results with planning, execution and optimization of SEO, social and digital marketing programs, and initiatives
  • Deep knowledge of digital marketing practices, with proven experience leading digital transformation for retail brands
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices, and awareness of evolving trends
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to lead groups and be decisive
