Role Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) specializing in AWS DevOps to manage the onboarding of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) within CGC's FedRAMP authorized boundary. This role demands a professional, customer-facing individual with a deep understanding of software deployment strategies, cybersecurity principles, and infrastructure as code. The ideal candidate will possess strong collaborative skills and experience working within Agile methodologies.

As an SRE within CGC, you will be responsible for the following key activities:

Technical Expertise:
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD): Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment.
- Compute Platforms: Proficiency in managing compute resources, including Kubernetes (container orchestration), Linux, and Windows environments.
- Desired State Configuration: Experience with desired state management tools such as Chef or Puppet.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise in developing and deploying infrastructure using Terraform, integrated with CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud Technologies: Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). Proficiency in other cloud platforms may be considered, contingent upon strong demonstrated expertise in other required technical areas.
- Security Hardening: Implement security hardening measures for containers and virtual machine images.
- Vulnerability Management: Execute vulnerability remediation and management processes.
- Agile Methodology: Utilize Agile frameworks for efficient workflow management.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
Professional Background:
- Proven experience working within highly secure environments, preferably within the Federal or Healthcare sectors.
- In-depth understanding of Shift Left, DevSecOps, Agile principles, and modern software development methodologies.

- U.S. Citizenship required.
