Summary
The Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine is seeking a qualified and motivated Instructor to join our team. This position will primarily focus on providing comprehensive outpatient cardiovascular care at the McNair Cardiology Clinic, as well as contributing to diagnostic services and fellow education.
Job Duties
- Provide high-quality outpatient care at the McNair Cardiology Clinic, ensuring excellence in patient service, diagnosis, and management.
- Hold a minimum of eight (8) clinic sessions per week, including patient consultations, follow-up visits, and development of individualized treatment plans.
- Perform intermittent interpretation of outpatient echocardiograms for clinic patients, as needed.
- Read and interpret ECGs, cardiac monitors, and remote monitoring data from implanted cardiac devices as assigned.
- Participate in the education and training of cardiology fellows, contributing to their clinical and academic development.
Minimum Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
- Board eligibility or certification in Cardiology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas.
