Title: Network Architect

Duration: 3+ Months

Location: Denton, TX

Rate: $70/hr - $80/hr

Job Description

We are looking for a Network Architect to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in enterprise networking, cloud infrastructure, and security best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design and deploy network architectures, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
• Configure routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud network services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Optimize network performance, implement redundancy, and ensure high availability.
• Implement security best practices, including Zero Trust and network segmentation.
• Troubleshoot complex networking issues and collaborate with IT and security teams.
• Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking, or equivalent.
• Technical Skills: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, SD-WAN, VXLAN, cloud networking, firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet).
• Automation: Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Bash scripting.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in SDN, NFV, IoT, or 5G networking.
• Background in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government).
