Job Description:

As an IT Engineer you will work with a team of IT professionals resolving technical issues in support of a next generation collaboration capability. This capability is a high visibility requirement with the Customer, integrating the latest IT commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware and software.

We're seeking a skilled and motivated Windows Engineer to join our team, where you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our Windows environment. This is an opportunity for a technical expert to make an immediate impact by contributing to our advanced enterprise global IT environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, ready to lead, and experienced in troubleshooting and optimizing Windows systems to meet dynamic and complex requirements.

System Management & Troubleshooting: Develop, implement, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot Windows-based IT systems to meet rigorous operational and security standards. Active Directory & VDI Expertise: Manage and support Active Directory environments and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for optimized system performance and security. System Tuning & Optimization: Ensure peak system performance through effective tuning of technology components and configurations. Project Leadership: Lead medium to large-scale projects, ensuring timely delivery of technical solutions that align with project requirements. Technical Briefings: Deliver clear, concise technical briefs to stakeholders, translating complex technical details into accessible insights. Installation & Upgrades Management: Oversee the installation, upgrades, maintenance, and ongoing support of the Windows environment, ensuring consistent and effective system operation. Comprehensive Support: Provide end-to-end support across end-user and server environments, resolving issues and enhancing the user experience.

The Level 2 ITE Windows shall possess the following capabilities:
  • As an IT Engineer you will work with a team of IT professionals resolving technical issues in support of a next generation collaboration capability. This capability is a high visibility requirement with the Customer, integrating the latest IT commercial off the shelf (COTS) hardware and software.
  • Additionally, you will be at the forefront in developing and enforcing security protocols for secure, multi-party capabilities for users across various domain classification. You will work with various users to collect requirements for data centers. These users are across the Intelligence Community (IC) to include mission analysts and data owners, various Government off-the-shelf (GOTS) and COTS developers, and consumers and owners of the mission data. As capabilities are implemented in our Production environment, you will contribute to the extended phases of monitoring, sustainment, and process improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
  • 8 years' experience as an IT Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.

Certifications Required:
  • Security

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
