JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide direction and guidance on recasting of Class 2/3 Estimate into Cost Control base
Develop and implement cost related work processes and procedures as required
Provide direction and focus to all project cost control and change management efforts
Prepare and Review Cash Forecasts and Payment Schedules
Review Monthly Project Cost Summary
Prepare Reconciliation reports for all Commitments and Expenditures
Develop and Update Project Estimates as required
Provide cost analysis and updates to Management accordingly and as required
Implement the Change Management Process and review/approve change (Variation) Log
Interface and coordinate with Finance and Accounting as required
Present Cost data formats and reports for Management Review
Prepare and maintain an accurate forecast of cost at completion
Maintain accurate records of actual costs and commitments incurred on the project
Maintain alignment with Client's cost and finance groups
Assist Project Controls Manager as required
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and ten (10) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to fourteen (14) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Five (5) to ten (10) years project controls experience with five (5) years large project experience, preferably Mining & Metals and/or oil & gas
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
