Summary
The Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas, is seeking a trauma and acute care surgeon to join the Division of Trauma, Bariatrics and Acute Care Surgery. The Division has a robust clinical program across the Texas Medical Center and at Baylor affiliated institutions including Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, part of CHI St. Luke's Health, and the Texas Heart Institute, the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Ben Taub Hospital, and Texas Children's Hospital.
Opportunities for potential leadership roles in the clinical, administrative, vascular lab, quality, and outreach activities of the Division with our partnership with Catholic Health Initiatives, a 90-hospital, not-for-profit network partner with the Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, will also be afforded to the individual chosen for this position.
The successful candidate will have a particular interest and expertise in both open and endovascular surgery with clearly demonstrated skills in clinical patient care, education, and research. Rank and tenure status are dependent upon qualifications.
