PURPOSE
The Sales Enablement Manager will coordinate and lead projects and initiatives to help SMC sales teams become more efficient in their operation and more effective in their sales efforts. This role will support senior leadership and aid in the development and training of new sales strategies, tools, and resources. This role is primarily responsible for managing the NA Sales Enablement team, the global CRM and professional services team, projects, new initiatives, and research to ensure effective sales execution and achieving growth objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Manage the evaluation, redesign, and development of sales resources, training materials, sales specific tools, and platforms
  • Collaborate with domestic and global CRM system analysts, administrators, professional services team members, and sales senior leadership teams to understand CRM functional design, usage, and needs to plan future development
  • Lead cross functional projects to continually enhance sales processes, sales effectiveness and CRM usability
  • Work with a variety of stakeholder groups to understand their business processes, requirements, and dependencies
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in CRM usability, optimization, and adoption
  • Manage SOWs, invoices, development project planning, utilization of professional services teams, and other financial processes as it pertains to the global CRM platform development, maintenance, and optimization
  • Proactively develops key communications supporting ongoing initiatives, CRM deployments and status updates
  • Conducts solid stakeholder collaboration with customer focus. Serves as a voice of the sales representative to corporate operations. Translates the vision of global sales leadership teams into functional plans and CRM development
  • Provide strategic knowledge and leadership at a regional and global level.
  • Interface with the key stakeholders in Sales, Sales Management, SIS, Marketing, Management Operations and VP levels.
  • Weigh alternatives while developing strategies for adjusted courses of action business implication analysis.
  • Direct the efforts of others in the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives of the group
  • Manage team that handles high complexity sales opportunities across business segments or supports multiple segments in multiple areas of the business.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of CRM usability procedures and best practices.
  • Inspires the team to create compelling, compliant, and thorough deliverable responses to meet or exceed customer/sales requirements.
  • The manager will be hands-on, diving deep into the data for specific analyses while staying focused on the high-level strategy and objective, leading cross-functional project teams in the development of sales strategies to achieve growth
  • Continuously develop and present innovative ideas based on a data-driven approach to improve current business practices to drive sales growth objectives
  • All other duties as assigned

TEAM MANAGEMENT/HUMAN RESOURCE FUNCTIONS
  • Maintain the most efficient array of associates needed to support the department's core responsibilities. This is done through hiring, orientating, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for career development/planning, performance and pay discussions of team members.
  • Effectively communicate expectations by establishing job standards, reviewing job contributions according to those standards, coach associates towards meeting those standards, yet counsel when standards are not being met.
  • Establish and execute a training plan that meets the departmental responsibility to the organization.
  • Create and administer annual performance appraisals with each associate to assess their performance according to department and company standards.
  • Manage a cost center's financial objectives by forecasting departmental requirements that creatively influence the minimization of expenditures, managing an annual budget that does not exceed those requirements and analyzing to establish actions that correct any variances.
  • Maintain a skill set that provides the appropriate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's degree in business or an analytical-related degree
  • 7+ years of related work experience in a professional role
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership, management role
  • Experience with CRM platforms
  • Strong strategic planning abilities and advanced project management experience
  • Proven success in driving operational effectiveness for a large organization
  • Strong presentation skills, communication skills, and ability to work with senior management
  • Demonstrated success building relationships across all levels within an organization
  • Strong judgment skills and ability to work in an unstructured environment with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to maintain an advanced knowledge of various operational systems such as ERP, CRM, and Helpdesk software
  • Must be proficient in MS Office Suite products and similar tools
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and complete work within set deadlines.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and problem-solving/troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be able to read/write/speak and understand English.
