About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Womens Services to lead our Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery/NICU Units. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, this critical role ensures high-quality, safe, and compassionate care while promoting excellence in clinical practice and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee 24/7 operations of the Womens Services units, ensuring clinical excellence and optimal patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and procedures that align with quality standards and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise and evaluate nursing personnel, fostering an environment of professional growth and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets, ensuring operational and financial efficiency.
• Collaborate with leadership to assess performance objectives and strategic goals.
• Oversee recruitment, hiring, training, and performance management of nursing staff.
• Drive initiatives to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
• Actively participate in quality improvement, safety protocols, and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Active and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
• Bachelors degree required (BSN preferred); Masters degree highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification required.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
