Job Description
Job Title: Radiology Technologist
Job Specialty: Echocardiography
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour days
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum 4 years
License: Not required
Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) via CCI
Must-Have: 2+ years of ECHO experience, experience writing up preliminary reports, and experience with stress ECHOs is highly preferred.
Job Description:
- Perform adult ECHOs as the primary study; also conduct stress echos using treadmill and dobutamine, and bubble studies using Definity contrast agent.
- Write up all preliminary reports for studies conducted.
- Utilize EPIC and IntelliSpace or ISCV for EMR and PACS.
- Operate department-specific equipment such as Philips IE 33 and EPIC systems.
- Coordinate scheduling in 8-hour shifts from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. or 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. as assigned by supervisors.
- No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements.
- Wear clean and professional attire; no specific scrub color required.
- Participate in EPIC class and department-specific orientation, with support from an educator to complete the orientation checklist.
- Collaborate with a high-functioning department to ensure quality imaging services.
*Note: The facility requires candidates to reside outside a specified radius of 50 miles from the worksite to ensure compliance with location rules.*
