Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a primary care setting.
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) system, Epic.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, ideal but not required.
- Participation in quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, providing evidence-based treatment options.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare team members.
- Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
