Job Summary:

Are you ready to make a life-saving impact every day? As a Criticalist, you will be at the forefront of emergency and critical care, delivering advanced medical treatment to the most vulnerable patients. Using cutting-edge technology and expertise in critical care, anesthesia management, and rapid intervention, you'll stabilize and treat critically ill or injured animals when every second counts.

This role is more than just medicine-it's about collaboration, leadership, and innovation. You'll work closely with specialists across disciplines to develop comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring every patient receives the gold standard of care. As an educational leader, you'll inspire and mentor veterinary staff, interns, and residents, shaping the future of emergency and critical care medicine.

As a leader for the Emergency and Patient Care team, you'll guide them through high-pressure situations with confidence, expertise, and unwavering support. Your ability to problem-solve, think critically, and perform under pressure will be key to providing extraordinary care-not just for the patients, but also for the families who trust us with their beloved companions.

Education & Experience:
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC) or eligible for board certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a multi-specialty and emergency hospital preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in advanced diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures relevant to critical care medicine.
  • Act as the primary specialist for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of critically ill patients.
  • Partner with Emergency and Specialty Departments to provide seamless patient care and ensure timely consultation on critical cases.
