The Senior Financial Analyst where you'll collaborate with worldwide
colleagues to support our Global R&D department. This highly visible role involves supporting month-end closing, financial reporting and analysis, and other business required activities.

Responsibilities
- Support Accounting with month-end and year-end closings and provide monthly financial reporting analysis including explanations and insights of key drivers of variability.
- Maintain and improve detailed financial models that track and analyze key metrics that impact Global R&D's financial performance and resource allocations.
- Support analysis, reporting, and Capex and Opex projects related to financial implications of all R&D functions.
- Perform frequent ad-hoc projects or analyses to enable Global R&D and Finance leadership to make informed business decisions.
- Support mid-year Forecast, Annual budget, and long-term strategic planning activities on Headcount, Opex, and Capex for Global R&D
- Ensure Global R&D complies with all policies, controls and standard operating procedures in alignment with Global Controllership direction
- Consistently and proactively drive process improvements, identify issues and implement solutions
- Represent Driscoll's in an ethical and business-like professional manner in all interactions with growers, co-workers, suppliers, customers and the business community at large
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration and/or Accounting. MBA/CPA is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive finance, accounting or related analytical field experience
- Requires strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, management accounting, financial and managerial reporting.
- Requires strong analytical skills, comfortable working with large data sets to perform data analysis, data visualization, and financial modeling
- Requires excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Requires hands-on experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Tableau Preferred experience with intercompany transactions and consolidations Preferred hands on experience with using programming languages (Python, SQL,...) for data analytics and financial modelling
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, communication skills, and team spirit Ability to work cross-functionally with all levels of internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work in a fast-paced global environment Preferred experience in agriculture, life sciences or research and development business units
- Spanish communication skill is a plus
- A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally without restrictions are require
