Nurse Educator Critical Care ICU

A renowned hospital in Southern California is seeking an experienced Critical Care Clinical Nurse Educator to join their advanced intensive care team. This is a full-time position offering excellent benefits and a competitive salary in the Los Angeles area.

Critical Care Clinical Educator Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive education and training to nursing staff across multiple intensive care units (ICUs) including medical, surgical, cardiovascular, and neurocritical care
• Implement evidence-based practices to ensure highest standards of critical care nursing and patient safety
• Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, specialists, and multidisciplinary ICU teams
• Develop educational programs for mechanical ventilation, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT, ECMO, and other advanced critical care topics
• Promote early mobility, delirium prevention, and other ICU best practices
• Work closely with nursing professional development to advance ICU nursing excellence

Requirements:

• Active CA RN license required, BSN required, MSN preferred
• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing practices
• Excellent teaching/training abilities
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills

This acute care hospital offers a supportive environment with experienced critical care nursing leadership. The ICU Clinical Educator will work alongside ICU Nurse Managers and Nurse Practitioners. The Educator will report to the Director of Critical Care Services.
