Rehab Director - SLP - ST - Speech Language Pathologist

A REHAB DIRECTOR (SLP / ST / Speech Therapist / Speech Language Pathologist) is now available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in Queens- Jamaica, NY. Must have CCC's and SNF experience.

Facility is located in Queens, NY and conveniently located to the LIRR St. Albans station. Facility has a 250 bed capacity with a mostly long-term care Veteran population. Therapists will perform evaluations, treatments, patient/family education & caregiver training while working with a diverse and friendly multi-disciplinary team that works well together. Our rehab department is a close knit community of supportive coworkers and supervisor. The Veterans served us, it's our turn to serve them!

• Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient outcomes
• Ensure efficient and effective operations
• Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data
• Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision
• Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor
• Provide therapy services as needed.
• Be a licensed speech language pathologist or license eligible in the state where employed
• Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility setting
• Experience managing a SNF rehabilitation department
• Hold CCC's.
