We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Asset Management to join our team in Buffalo Grove, IL. This position will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of power generation assets, including renewable, conventional, and a bio-fuel pellet facility.
This is an on-site role, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Asset Management to join our team in Buffalo Grove, IL. This position will be responsible for overseeing a diverse portfolio of power generation assets, including renewable, conventional, and a bio-fuel pellet facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial, contractual, and regulatory aspects of energy generation assets.
- Optimize asset performance across operational, commercial, and compliance areas.
- Lead communications with plant teams, internal stakeholders, customers, ISOs, and service providers.
- Oversee back-end settlement of energy, capacity, and environmental emissions transactions.
- Develop and manage annual budgets.
- Ensure compliance with NERC and other regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience managing or operating energy generation assets in North American ISOs.
- 2+ years of NERC compliance experience in a leadership or SME role.
- Strong knowledge of North American energy markets, including electricity, capacity, emissions, and fuel.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related quantitative field.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
